Don’t get freak out when someone introduces themselves with a hug or a kiss.
Do make eye contact, to represent a sincere and generous attitude.
Do show plenty of body language.
If when addressing a group of people do not engage in a private conversation with a member of the group, they feel better when everyone is included.
Hungary
Do know that it is rare to be inside a hungarian household
Do not give flowers in an even number
Do arrive on time when youre invited to someone’s house
Do not ask for a tour of the house.
Do not arrive more than 30 minutes late when invited to a party or a gathering.
Romania
Do know that Romanians tend to be very generous, even to new people.
If someone offers you a drink do not refuse it, because if you do most likely they’ll be offended.
Do not walk barefoot, because you will receive bad luck.
Do not whistle at night, because you will receive bad luck.
Slovakia
Do not wrap flowers with a purple ribbon, since they are a tradition for only funerals.
Do not address someone by using their first name if you barely know them since it’s an insult if you’re not considered close friends.
Do not walk with shoes inside a house that’s not yours.
Do arrive on time.
Russian Federation
Do not whistle indoors

Do not shake a hand through the doorway
Do not ask people where the toilet is
